Andrea Opel
Prof. Dr. Andrea Opel has been Full Professor of Tax Law at the University of Lucerne since 2016, prior to which she held an assistant professorship. In 2015, it began work on "Reorientation of Swiss treaty policy in tax matters: Administrative assistance according to the OECD standard" at the University of Basel, where she also studied and received her doctorate. Before and during her university career, Andrea Opel worked as an assistant / consultant in a Zurich law firm.
Since the beginning of 2018, Andrea Opel has been an advisor at Bär & Karrer. She is also president of the supporting organization for the higher professional examination for tax experts, a board member of the IFA(International Fiscal Association), a board member of SATLP(Swiss Association of Tax Law Professors), a member of the Legal Council of SwissFoundations (Association of Swiss Grantmaking Foundations ) and a member of the Advisory Board of CEPS(Center for Philanthropy Studies). Andrea Opel is also a member of the primius Talent Promotion Committee of the University of Lucerne.
