Benno Suter
After working for several years at a Zurich bank in various functions in the area of securities settlement, later inheritance matters and taxes, Benno Suter underwent a classical training as a certified tax expert and tax manager at a leading Big 4. He then spent five years as Group Tax Director at a major Swiss bank, where he provided tax advice on investment banking transactions. Later he was responsible for transfer pricing and the VAT group. Subsequently, he led the VAT and customs consulting of a Big4 as Tax Partner for more than 12 years and has been Tax Partner and Head in the same function at Ernst & Young AG since November 2018.
Benno Suter is a long-standing member of the VAT Consultative Committee of the Swiss Confederation according to Art. 109 VAT Act as well as President of the VAT Sub-Commission of EXPERTsuisse.
