Philipp Roth
Philipp Roth is founder and co-owner of HeadStarterz GmbH as well as founder and editor of taxlawblog.ch. Philipp also holds a lectureship in academic work at the Swiss Institute of Tax Law (SIST) at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, as well as a lectureship at the University of Zurich.
Philipp worked for several years as Tax Knowledge Manager for a Big4 in Switzerland and as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. René Matteotti for Swiss, European and international tax law and with Prof. Markus Reich and Prof. Madeleine Simonek at the University of Zurich. As product owner and product developer in the Tax & LegalTech division at Weblaw AG, Philipp was involved in the development of a software for document automation.
Philipp regularly lectures and publishes on topics of digitization in law, on the topics of law firm marketing and knowledge management as well as on current topics in Swiss and international tax law. Philipp is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Switzerland and the Swiss Legal Tech Association (SLTA). Philipp graduated from the University of Basel with a Master of Law degree (summa cum laude; 5.9) in 2010.
