Remo Keller
Besides being my profession for 10+ years, taxes are a true passion to me. I love to understand people’s needs by means of both empathy and data, to provide customized tax advice to corporations and individuals with regards to their projects and challenges. Besides the daily tax consulting and compliance, I feel passionate helping corporations with the application for tax incentives, especially for R&D. Furthermore, I have been involved in various acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, reorganizations, relocations and tax relief projects.
With more than a decade of professional experience in tax consulting and while working with a cantonal tax authority, I built up in-depth and sound knowledge of domestic and international tax advisory across various industries. Whether in big multinational context or middle-sized enterprises, I enjoy working in the different industries, helping businesses in creating their perfectly tailored solution for tax issues.
Before joining EY again in 2022 as a tax Director in the Business Tax Services department, I have been a member of the Executive Board of the cantonal Tax Administration Basel-Landschaft. As Deputy Head I was responsible for all tax assessments (individual and corporate tax) and for establishing a uniform tax law practice in the canton. I was taking care of the professional, personnel, organizational and administrative management of four departments with almost 100 people.
