Tobias studied law in Basel and passed the bar exams in 2012. As a lawyer, he practised for two years for a commercial law firm in Basel, mainly in corporate and labour law. Tobias then completed a full-time MBA programme at the HEC in Paris, specialising in marketing.

Following this MBA, Tobias was Head of Legal & HR at a management consultancy. In this role he was responsible for the global management of the legal affairs of this consultancy. As a member of the executive management team, he was also involved in the acquisition of the company by a US company.

In August 2018, Tobias founded the company HeadStarterz. He now advises law firms, legal departments and other institutions in the legal industry on all aspects of strategic marketing.

Tobias also holds an LL.M from Stellenbosch University in Intellectual Property.
