FTA publishes circular no. 32a: Reorganization of corporations and cooperatives

On January 20, 2025, the FTA published circular no. 32a regarding the "Restructuring of corporations and cooperatives".

The circular provides an overview of the tax implications of various restructuring measures with regard to direct federal tax, withholding tax and stamp duties.

In addition to general editorial changes, the updated version of the circular takes into account in particular the amendments to circular no. 5a of the FTA dated February 1, 2022 on restructuring as well as the practice adjustments made by the FTA since the publication of circular no. 32 in 2010.
