Gernot Zitter
Gernot Zitter is a partner in the corporate and M&A tax practice of KPMG. He has extensive experience in carrying out national and international tax due diligence and tax structuring mandates for corporate and private equity clients. He also advises clients on the preparation of carve-outs, tax reorganizations and restructurings, financing and post-closing integrations.
He has over 15 years of experience as a consultant in the M&A field and began his career in Vienna with various international law firms.
Today, Gernot Zitter regularly lectures on corporate and international tax law at the Universities of Lucerne and Zurich, as well as at Swiss tax seminars.
In addition, he writes articles on national and international corporate tax matters in renowned tax journals.
