Ilan Rom
IIan Rom is a Tax Partner at Deloitte Switzerland and co-heads the FSI Tax practice. He advises companies in the financial services sector, in particular insurance companies, banks and asset managers. He has more than 20 years of experience as a corporate tax specialist with extensive experience in the financial services industry and is a tax expert with in-depth knowledge of international tax law, treasury, asset management, corporate restructuring, M&A, VAT, transfer pricing, tax reporting and tax technology.
After completing his business studies at the University of Zurich and the London School of Economics, Ilan began his career in tax law at a Big Four company in 2003. In addition to his training as a certified tax expert, Ilan completed the LL.M International Tax program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich. Before joining Deloitte, Ilan was a director at one of the largest Swiss companies in the insurance/reinsurance industry. He regularly publishes and lectures on topics in his area of expertise.
