Robert Desax is a lawyer and qualified tax expert. He specializes in representing clients in tax proceedings and advising private clients on tax matters relating to their estate and wealth planning. He regularly deals with real estate, gift and inheritance taxes as well as cross-border aspects of international tax law, such as the application of double taxation agreements, the refund of Swiss withholding tax within international structures, the tax treatment of trusts and foundations and the relocation of private individuals and companies to Switzerland. Robert Desax lectures and publishes regularly in the field of taxation. He studied at the University of Fribourg i.Ü. and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
