Thomas Patt
Thomas Patt is a VAT consultant with around 20 years of professional experience. Most recently, he was Director and Head of Indirect Taxes for Eastern Switzerland and Liechtenstein at one of the "Big Four" companies. He specializes in providing comprehensive advice to companies in a wide range of sectors on national and international VAT issues, restructurings, company takeovers and VAT controls. These include, in particular, internationally active banks, insurance companies, asset managers and fund structures as well as internationally operating companies, foundations and non-profit organizations.
He is a lecturer and module leader for the CAS FH in Swiss VAT/MWST at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland. In addition, he regularly publishes on current VAT topics and appears as a speaker at relevant specialist events.
