Keeping up to date with the latest developments in tax legislation and practice is a major challenge. The aim of this annual seminar is to provide participants with a sound and up-to-date overview of the latest developments in corporate tax law in legislation, administrative practice and case law.

The workshops on offer provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the most important innovations in a compact and focused manner over two seminar days and to deepen their knowledge using practical case studies. In each workshop, both the perspective of the tax authorities and that of the taxpayer will be examined by a representative from the field. Participants can therefore benefit from the speakers' extensive practical experience in day-to-day tax practice as well as their insight into the latest developments in case law and legislation.

The seminar uses selected case studies to discuss tax law problems for companies and their stakeholders. Both the special tax challenges for partnerships and the tax stumbling blocks for corporations will be explored in depth in workshops. Of course, the topic of corporate restructuring will also be covered, with a separate workshop dedicated to it. And, as always, updates on withholding tax and stamp duties as well as in-depth explanations of specific tax issues for SMEs will be discussed alongside current developments in the area of intercantonal and international corporate tax law.

The offer comprises seven workshops, six of which can be attended, i.e. in addition to five "fixed" workshops, participants can spontaneously choose whether they would like to attend the "VAT update" or "Transfer pricing documentation" workshop. Regardless of this choice, participants will receive detailed documentation and solution notes for all workshops.

As always, there will be another guest lecture on the program; this time we will be looking at tax law from a philosophical perspective.
