Content

This seminar offers a comprehensive insight into key issues relating to pensions and (social) insurance.

The focus is on the tax treatment of pension benefits in both a national and international context, with special consideration of lump-sum withdrawals from pension plans (including the withholding block under Art. 79 para. 3 BV). In addition, the tax consequences of accidents, illness and unemployment are examined. Another focus is on the tax and social security challenges of cross-border employment, including the taxation of board of directors and foundation board fees.

The seminar also deals with tax issues relating to the 3rd pillar, tax issues in the event of full or partial termination of employment and the taxation of severance payments.
